PASTOR GERARD SMITH
Gerard Smith is the founder and Lead Pastor of Foundation of Faith Christian Center, located in the beautiful capital city of Columbia, South Carolina. Foundation of Faith is a thriving non-denominational ministry that endeavors to impact communities for Christ from all ethic and economic landscapes.
Pastor Smiths’ natural, as well as spiritual roots originated in the upstate of Gaffney South Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of South Carolina and obtained his ministerial credentials under the leadership of the late Bishop Thomas E. Smith and The Abundant Life School of Ministry, under the direction of the late Dr. Cynthia DeBerry. In addition, he is forever grateful for the extensive and valuable ministerial training he received under the tutelage of Pastor Norman E. Curlee and the Kingdom Builders Christian Center, where he has been privileged to serve for the past two decades.
He is married to Jaquelyn Smith and they are proud parents of two sons, Elder Austin Gerard and Bradford Langston, one daughter in love and one grandson. Elder Austin Gerard and his beautiful wife, Brea Lena, along with their son, Bryce Xander reside in Rock Hill, SC and Bradford Langston, who is an honor student at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC.
LADY JACQUELYN SMITH
Jacquelyn “Jackie” Smith is the co-founder and First Lady of Foundation of Faith Christian Center, located in Columbia, South Carolina. Lady Smith, originally from Rochester, New York, attended Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) during her freshman year of college. However, as God commenced to order and orchestrate her path, she transferred to Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. Lady Smith received her ministerial credentials from The Abundant School of Ministry, under the tutelage of the late Dr. Cynthia DeBerry.
She is a humble servant leader, called and anointed by God to teach the Word of God to all generations. God has gifted and enabled her to take every day, natural experiences and apply the power of His anointed Word to stimulate growth throughout the body of Christ. God has given her a heart and passion to teach and care for children of all ages to provoke, challenge, and prepare them for a higher level of growth in their personal, but most importantly, their spiritual lives.
Lady Smith is the wife of Pastor Gerard Smith and the mother of their two sons; Austin Gerard and Bradford Langston.
